88 Modern Constellations (project)

Star gazing in the 21st century, from high up on a mesa. Not any mesa, but one where there’s a stunning view of the sky. The Milky Way Galaxy is breathtaking at times. This project is dedicated to stargazers and lovers of art!

This instrumental project which began around 2012. Started from my instrumental music library. I continually record music. I mixed and mastered my first “electronica” album in 2011. Ursa Major became the title. So, as I considered what to do moving forward. I found the list of 88 Modern Constellations intriguing. I then went back and started at A, Andromeda.

The essence of the Constellations – I felt I was working and moving more toward a celestial dance with the stars. The songs/recordings took on a primordial sound at times. In the evening, sometime, let the sound take you away.

I use Reason 13+ in the studio, with the Reason Companion. I’ve used Reason on pretty most 90% of the recordings on this. I’ll stoke up a groove, and fire up a synthesizer or two. Play a live session *in studio, and perform for an hour(or so) session!

I love the platform, the folks over at Reason Studios have outdone themselves!

Equipment: I have a Yamaha – moXF6, Reason 13, Analog Lab(Arturia) software synths(which are great!!). Additionally, I have Arturia and AKAI keyboards. Roland TD 17 kv2 Electronic Drumset. An Ibanez Bass and a Stratocaster. A new Telecaster by M. Kelly!(great guitar btw)

See YOU @ the show!!
